I have been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since graduating from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2016, but in a way, I started my journey many years prior.
As a competitive horseback rider, I was taught by my coaches to use massage regularly with the horses I trained. I saw how much the horses benefited from massage as it showed in their performance competitively, in recreation and reduce the number of injuries. Although I didn’t realize it at the time, I was on the road to becoming a hands-on therapist.
Today I utilize my knowledge of therapeutic and relaxation massage to restore and assist the body to function optimally. To compliment my approach to treatment I also draw on my education as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
When I’m not working you can find me mountain biking, aerial acrobatics training, skiing, and walking my dog.
